Reflexology: the scientific art of maneuvering maps of the human body found in the extremities (feet, hands, ears, face), with specific thumb and finger walking techniques. The intention is to encourage a balanced, restorative result.
This approach provides access to the body’s imbalance (injury, dis-ease, or toxic state) without having to manipulate a wounded or imbalanced area of the body. Because maps represent everything IN the body, a Reflexologist has access to the very guts (pun intended) of the individual allowing work to be done on the innermost of an individual.
The most relaxing part of anyone’s day, Reflexology serves to reset and sooth jangled nerves, stressed minds, and aching bodies. That’s the easy stuff. The amazing part of any Reflexologists work is watching how the individual’s body/mind/spirit internalizes and uses the signals or frequency that results.
Truly we are fearfully and wonderfully made.
